Keiter Human Resources Manager, Lauren Andrews, received the 2017 Strategic Leader of the Year Award recognizing her excellence in strategic thinking by the Richmond Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Lauren was one of two finalists nominated by their peers as an outstanding example of identifying and implementing strategic initiatives to benefit their firms. Lauren was recognized for her work on making our Advocate Program stronger, creating and supporting the Future Leaders’ Group, and aligning our Total Rewards program with retention strategies.
Lauren joined the Firm in 2008 after working in fundraising and development at local non-for-profit organizations. She first supported Keiter’s recruiting and training functions and now manages the HRM (HR Management) segment of the department, including employee benefits and compensation, employee relations, and performance management. Lauren builds dialogue between staff and management in order to identify the opportunities that increase retention and affect engagement.
