Richmond Music Scene Highlighted on on NPR’s ‘World Cafe’
With the variety of fun things to do in Richmond and being recognized as a top city in the south, it should come as no surprise that Richmond would continue to gain national recognition for it’s benefits of visiting, living, and working in the city.
Excerpt:
“We’ve got Spacebomb Records, GWAR, Lucy Dacus, Angelica Garcia, Jason Mraz and Matthew E. White, to name a few. And even though singer-songwriter Natalie Prass moved to Nashville, she lived in Richmond for a while, so we still claim her as our own.
And now the whole world is going to know some of the Richmond musicians, too.
NPR’s “World Cafe” will be featuring the Richmond music scene on its “Sense of Place” series from March 23 to 27. “World Cafe” can be heard on WNRN (88.5 FM) weeknights from 6 to 8 p.m.
It will also be broadcast on NPR stations around the U.S.“
