Jon has over 20 years of professional Information Technology industry experience. This specialized experience includes systems engineering, computer forensics, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing for privately- and publicly-held companies, fortune 500, financial institutions, non-profit organizations, and government agencies.

He has extensive experience analyzing the security of networks and identifying solutions to vulnerabilities.

Jon acts as the Lead Information Technology Forensics Manager and has been involved in cases scaling up to a $100 million international fraud. In this role, he develops procedures, acquires evidence while maintaining the proper chain of custody, images and retrieves hidden data, and assists in the technical analysis of the findings. As a penetration testing consultant, Jon serves the lead role in performing internal and external penetration testing, vulnerability testing, and security consulting. His experience performing penetration tests spans 15 years.

In addition to being an expert in Network Security, Jon has designed, implemented, and maintained all aspects of enterprise networking for Keiter and our clients. He has worked in highly complex environments facing a vast assortment of production servers, routers, firewalls, switches, SANS, wide-area-networks, virtual infrastructures, databases, application servers, home grown applications, web applications, and hosted environments. Jon has held certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix, ISC2, and Offensive Security.

Prior to joining Keiter, Jon worked in software development at Capital One.
