Campus Recruiter


Our Campus Recruiter will work closely with our Recruiting Coordinator, our HR Director, and our Recruiting Committee to implement campus, intern, extern, and entry-level recruiting programs.

If you have:

  • An interest in helping people make job connections and traveling to university campuses
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
  • A college degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, English, or similar major
  • A desire to learn and work with a variety of people both in-person and virtually

Information about our Campus Recruiter opening:

  • On-campus and virtual recruiting
    • Schedule events, virtual and in-person – with schools and with our Keiter recruiting representatives
    • Attend campus events, set up Keiter “booth,” prepare/assist with creating presentation materials
    • Post jobs on college and university job platforms (e.g., Handshake, Symplicity) and monitor for applicants
    • Order give-aways, attire, etc. and coordinate sending items to college contacts
  • Social media and recruiting marketing
    • Work closely with our Marketing team to share knowledge on events, to communicate opportunities for social media posts, etc.
    • Work with Marketing to update our brochures, website, and any other recruiting marketing materials
    • Work with the Richmond Chamber of Commerce on any specific programs we can use to market Richmond to candidates
  • Internship and Externship program support
    • Help create and schedule programming for Internship and Externship programs
    • Arrange for any lodging, meals, etc. for program attendees
    • Serve as host/ess for events
  • Administrative duties
    • Review candidate applications and request additional information when needed (e.g., transcripts)
    • Schedule interviews – virtual and in-person
    • Conduct interviews – both individual and panel
    • Draft and review offer letters
    • Maintain candidate files and update tracking workbooks and our applicant tracking system
    • Assist with reporting

NOTE:  This position requires overnight travel, extended hours during our recruiting seasons and a valid driver’s license.
