You have:

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or business information systems, or equivalent
• 2-5 years IT audit experience
• Knowledge of service areas including, but not limited to: Cybersecurity, IT audit, Sarbanes-Oxley, SOC 1 and SOC 2 audits, and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) readiness and assessment engagements.
• The ability to use educated judgement to offer solutions and advice to clients
• The desire to evaluate information technology, cybersecurity controls, and prepare audit programs
• A passion for researching industry, information technology, and cybersecurity best practices
• The knack for interviewing client personnel to gain understanding of IT and Cybersecurity risks and controls
• An eagerness to plan, schedule, and manage client engagements along with team members
• Familiarity with preparing thorough process documentation including narratives and flowcharts
• Supervisory skills and ability to coach colleagues on engagement-level processes and procedures

You might also have:

• Eligibility to sit for the Certified Public Accountant’s License in the state of Virginia. A CPA and/ or CIA License (preferred)
• CISA, Certified Information Systems Auditor (preferred)
• Public accounting setting IT audit experience
