Job Opening Details

Description

COVID-19 Note:  During the COVID pandemic, our employees have been working remotely.  While most of our client work is being conducted remotely (not at the client site), we have kept our office open for staff who prefer to social distance, practice excellent hygiene, and work in our building.  We continue to onboard new hires virtually.  While we are not requiring employees to return to the office at this time, we are continually evaluating the safety of our employees and how to deliver our best client service.  The safety of our staff comes first!

Due to recent growth in our Family, Executive, & Entrepreneur Advisory Services (FEAS) group, Keiter is seeking a dynamic and client service-oriented individual to join our practice as a Tax Manager specializing in high net worth individuals.  Qualified candidates will also have experience with trust and/or estate tax matters.

  • To provide quality service to our clients
  • To provide fulfilling careers to our staff
  • To share our time and resources to give back to the community

  • Possess strong technical skills in accounting and tax preparation (inidividual taxation, multi-state taxation, trust and/or estate)
  • Working knowledge of US Tax Code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance
  • Serve as the main point of contact for multiple clients and directly handle tax-related communication with clients’ attorneys, brokers, or other third parties
  • Participate in the development of staff through one-on-one teachable moments and offering feedback on a regular basis; also seek feedback from others
  • Actively participate in the generation of additional business by developing relationships with key service providers, seeking out new clients, and following-through with leads
  • Contribute to and foster a positive work environment

Job Requirements:

  • Hold active CPA license; CFP® is a plus
  • At least five years of experience in public accounting, tax consulting, or other related experience
  • Ability to develop relationships with current and potential clients

“I think the reason individuals choose to come to Keiter and stay at Keiter is because the work is challenging and rewarding, the benefits are fantastic, and more than anything, I think it’s the people we work with.”

— Colin Hannifin, Business Assurance & Advisory Services Senior Manager
