We are seeking a candidate with strong client service skills, knowledge of individual, corporate, and international tax, and prior experience in public accounting. General Description:
The Tax Supervisor will perform diversified tax assignments while instructing Associates and Senior Associates on work to be performed, review staff work, and direct necessary revisions. This position also serves as a liaison among the Manager, staff, and clients. In addition, the Tax Supervisor assists in preparing highly complex returns and reviews returns of all varieties. The Tax Supervisor serves as primary contact for multiple clients, sets up time budgets, and is able to report on variances. This position also develops networking and business development skills by committing to the community, professional, and civic involvement.
Job Requirements:
- Active CPA license.
- Four or more years of experience in a public accounting firm or equivalent work experience.
- Significant experience working with privately owned business clients and their owners.
- Ability to develop relationships with current and potential clients.
- Knowledge and insight required to shape the success of our clients
