Donations Mark Firm’s A Bright Future Campaign Honoring 40th Anniversary
Keiter, the largest, independent Certified Public Accounting firm in Central Virginia, announces that it has donated $11,000 to Richmond-area not-for profit organizations as part of its “A Bright Future Serving the Community” campaign. The donations mark the conclusion of a year-long celebration honoring the firm’s 40th anniversary of serving clients in the Greater Richmond region, across Virginia, and throughout the United States.
“All of us at Keiter are humbled by the amazing support we’ve received from our friends in the business, not-for-profit, and public service communities over the past year,” said Gary Wallace, CPA, managing partner at Keiter. “Over the past 40 years, Keiter has redefined what it means to be an accountant by creating lasting and trusted relationships with our clients that have translated into our role as their Opportunity Advisors. We look forward to continuing that tradition in the Richmond community over the next 40 years.”
Keiter was founded on December 1, 1978, by Robert Keiter, Bill Stephens, Carroll Hurst, Ted Gary, and Bub Shreaves. Since that time, the firm has grown substantially and earned a national reputation for its work and client service in the fields of assurance, consulting and advisory, and taxation services. The firm now represents some of the largest real estate, construction, not-for-profit, financial services, manufacturing, and healthcare companies in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Additionally, the firm and its leaders have received accolades from the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants, CPA Practice Advisor, Accounting Today, Inside Public Accounting, the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce, and others.
Wallace continued, “Our people is what really sets us apart from other accounting firms in Richmond. We’ve been fortunate to have assembled some of the best and brightest thought-leaders and accounting practitioners from across the country. Most importantly, they all share in our common vision to provide our clients with the best knowledge and experience possible.”
Keiter is home to 81 CPAs and 160 total employees all dedicated to client service.
