As Managing Director, you will take full ownership of client engagements and strategic growth initiatives by:
Leading mergers & acquisitions (M&A) engagements from initial strategy and valuation through marketing, negotiation, and closing
Advising founders and ownership groups on exit planning, capital strategies, and market positioning
Managing multiple high-impact projects and deal teams concurrently, ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction
Building and maintaining national relationships within the food service distribution and broader food & beverage sectors
Representing KA at industry conferences, client meetings, and strategic networking events
Coaching and developing internal team members, fostering a culture of excellence and growth
Identifying new business opportunities and expanding KA’s market presence
10+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or M&A advisory
Background in food service distribution or food & beverage transactions strongly preferred
Exceptional financial and analytical proficiency, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Proven ability to manage full transaction lifecycles and lead deal teams with precision and poise
Strategic thinker and persuasive communicator, comfortable presenting to executive teams and large groups
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong initiative, accountability, and attention to detail
Deep understanding of M&A market dynamics and commitment to client success
Professional development support, including certifications, training, and industry memberships
In this role, you will interact daily with members of the Keiter advisors’ team, Keiter partners, and other management teams to execute transactions, conduct regular marketing activities, attend national industry meetings and conferences, and meet with clients throughout the US.
