Keiter is seeking motivated students to join our Spring 2026 Tax Internship Program. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public accounting, work directly with clients, and explore what it means to build a career as a Tax professional. You’ll receive meaningful training, mentorship, and exposure to real client engagements while developing the skills needed for long-term success in the profession.

What You’ll Do:

As a Keiter Tax Intern, you will:

  • Contribute to real client work
  • Build your skills with training on accounting systems and firm processes
  • Collaborate with peers and professionals in a supportive, team-driven environment
  • Gain exposure to career opportunities in public accounting, including the CPA track

What You’ll Bring:

  • Completion of at least one semester of an intermediate-level accounting class
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other computer skills
  • Interest in pursuing a career in public accounting and sitting for the CPA exam

Internship Overview:

  • Schedule: 20 hours per week minimum
    • Keiter will work with spring interns to create a schedule that accommodates their class commitments and academic priorities
  • Format: In-person, hybrid, and virtual options available. In-person experience is strongly encouraged
  • Onboarding: Interns are asked to attend the first two weeks in-person; lodging and meal support provided

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or accounting systems
  • Detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and collaborative mindset
  • Growth-oriented, entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to make an impact
