As a Tax Manager, you will play a key leadership role in managing client engagements and guiding team members while delivering high-quality tax services. You will:
Manage and review complex tax engagements for C-Corporations, S-Corporations, Partnerships, and Individuals
Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to associates and senior associates
Conduct tax research and communicate findings to clients and internal teams
Collaborate with partners and senior managers to develop proactive tax planning strategies
Evaluate multi-state operations to determine filing requirements
Support merger and acquisition analysis and due diligence activities
Review client trial balances and evaluate book/tax timing differences
Evaluate the propriety of depreciation methods and lives used
Assist in federal and state controversy work and accounting method changes
Actively participate in business development and client relationship initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
Five or more years of experience in public accounting, tax consulting, or equivalent work experience
Three or more years of experience in a manager role preferred
Active CPA license, CIA certification, or other appropriate professional designation
Proven experience managing and reviewing tax engagements across multiple entity types
Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to client service excellence and professional integrity

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax preparation software
