What You’ll Do:

As a Tax Manager, you will play a key leadership role in managing client engagements and guiding team members while delivering high-quality tax services. You will:

  • Manage and review complex tax engagements for C-Corporations, S-Corporations, Partnerships, and Individuals

  • Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to associates and senior associates

  • Conduct tax research and communicate findings to clients and internal teams

  • Collaborate with partners and senior managers to develop proactive tax planning strategies

  • Evaluate multi-state operations to determine filing requirements

  • Support merger and acquisition analysis and due diligence activities

  • Review client trial balances and evaluate book/tax timing differences

  • Evaluate the propriety of depreciation methods and lives used

  • Assist in federal and state controversy work and accounting method changes

  • Actively participate in business development and client relationship initiatives

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required

  • Five or more years of experience in public accounting, tax consulting, or equivalent work experience

  • Three or more years of experience in a manager role preferred

  • Active CPA license, CIA certification, or other appropriate professional designation

  • Proven experience managing and reviewing tax engagements across multiple entity types

  • Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Commitment to client service excellence and professional integrity

  • Inclusive and professional demeanor that supports a positive team environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax preparation software
