Ryan collaborates with business leaders to integrate tax planning with strategic goals, ensuring compliance and optimal positioning for the future.

Ryan’s practice focuses on business tax planning and compliance, general business consulting, financial reporting, and individual tax for privately-held clients in the professional services, technology, manufacturing, construction, retail, and real estate industries among others. He regularly assists clients with evaluating tax implications of large asset and stock purchases/sales, mergers, restructurings, choice of entity decisions, and succession planning.

Ryan plays a key role on several of the Firm’s specialized industry and service teams, including Professional Services, Technology, and Manufacturing, Distribution, and Retail, as well as the State and Local Tax services team. He leads Keiter’s Opportunity Zone service offerings, closely monitoring regulatory developments and providing specialized guidance to investors and entrepreneurs on Opportunity Zone tax incentives. In addition, Ryan contributes to the Firm’s growth by serving on the internal recruiting committee.

Ryan is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in Virginia, and joined Keiter in 2012 after spending three years with a major-market Big-4 accounting firm.

Ryan serves as Treasurer on the Board of Trustees for the Chesterfield Education Foundation. He also serves on the Tax Advisory Committee of the Virginia Society of CPAs. He is a member of the following professional organizations:
