Ryan is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in Virginia, and joined Keiter in 2012 after spending three years with a major-market Big-4 accounting firm. Ryan’s practice focuses on business tax planning and compliance, general business consulting, financial reporting, and individual tax for privately-held clients in the professional services, emerging business, manufacturing, construction, retail, and real estate industries among others. He regularly assists clients with evaluating tax implications of large asset and stock purchases/sales, mergers, restructurings, choice of entity decisions, and succession planning. Ryan also helped launch Keiter’s Opportunity Zone team, monitoring developments and consulting with investors and entrepreneurs on OZ tax incentives.

Ryan is a member of the Firm’s industry niche teams for Emerging Business, Professional Services, and Manufacturing, Distribution, and Retail, the State and Local Tax Committee, and serves on the Firm’s internal recruiting committee.

Ryan serves as Treasurer on the Board of Trustees for the Chesterfield Education Foundation. He also serves on the Tax Advisory Committee of the Virginia Society of CPAs. He is a member of the following professional organizations:
