Reservist Nominates Audit Managers for Virginia’s ESGR Patriot Award
Michael Harwood, audit associate, nominated his performance coach, Macy Irvin, and mentor, Colin Hannifin, for the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriot Award. Macy and Colin have both been instrumental in assisting Michael balance his service responsibilities as well as guiding him for a successful career at Keiter.
The ESGR Patriot Awards are given to supervisors of employees serving in the National Guard or Reserve, or the spouse of a Guard or Reserve member. This award showcases supervisors supporting employees serving in the National Guard or Reserve through flexible schedules, time off, leave of absence, or caring for families. Michael Harwood is in the Virginia Air National Guard.
Michael states:
“Macy has done an excellent job of helping me make sure I am able to coordinate my annual training and drill days with the scheduling committee. Colin has been great helping me to leverage the skills I learned in my time in the service to the audit environment. They both have been a great resource when time management conflicts have come up.”
