Keiter Director Honored for Commitment to Community
Mike Gracik has been inducted as a 2023 JA Greater Richmond Business Hall of Fame Laureate. Junior Achievement of Central Virginia (JA) has been recognizing outstanding leaders for over three decades. The JA Greater Richmond Business Hall of Fame honors industry leaders who have a strong commitment to and investment in their community.
Professional Contributions
Mike Gracik is a Director at Keiter with over 47 years’ experience. He became director in 2019 and prior to that was a partner from 1991-2018. From 1991 through 2013, Mike lead the tax department at Keiter. From 2014 through 2018, he was the Managing Partner of the Firm. During this time, Keiter experienced significant growth. Mike works with clients in various industries including real estate, home building, manufacturing, construction, retail, and the wholesale industry. Mike has also served as a mentor at Keiter to many team members.
Commitment to the Richmond Community
Mike is an active participant in the Richmond community. He is the Past Chairman, serving two terms, and current member of the Advisory Board of the Massey Cancer Center at VCU serving as the chairman of the philanthropy committee. Mike is also Director and Past President for J. Sergeant Reynolds Community College Educational Foundation. Since 1999, he has been the Co-Director of the Annual Virginia Conference on Federal Taxation held at the University of Virginia.
In 2020, Mike received the Outstanding Member Award from the Virginia Society of CPAs.
At home, Mike enjoys spending his time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
