CMMC requirements for periodic and real-time malware scans

As part of a series of articles about CMMC Level 1 Practices, the Keiter Technology team discusses the last of three CMMC Level 1 requirements related to endpoint protection.

The first two sets out requirements specified that endpoint protection software should be implemented where necessary and  requires enabling automatic updates of the protection mechanism. CMMC Practice Guide SI.L1-3.14.5 establishes specific requirements for periodic and real-time scans.
