Zac Blanco and Asif Charania Promoted to Partner
Keiter is pleased to announce that Zachary Blanco, CPA, CFE and Asif Charania, CPA/ABV/CFF, ASA have been promoted to Partner as of October 1, 2021.
Gary Wallace, managing partner of Keiter, is proud to have Zac Blanco and Asif Charania join the partner team. “Promoting these individuals is an important step in the Firm’s niche growth strategy. I am proud of the dedication and hard work that both Zac and Asif have demonstrated over their tenure at Keiter. We look forward to the leadership, innovation, and niche specialty area growth they will each provide to Keiter in the coming years.”
Zac joined Keiter as an Audit Senior Associate in 2012 with prior public accounting experience at Reznick Group. Over his tenure, Zac has established his expertise in the emerging business and technology space as well as healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, and retail. Most recently he has launched work in the crowd-funding space. He participates on the Healthcare and Medical Services team and Emerging & Growth Business team. Zac is a member of the Startup Virginia Advisory Council and a mentor at Startup Virginia and various other accelerator and incubator programs where he supports the emerging businesses in Virginia.
Asif started his career with Keiter as an Associate in the Valuation & Forensic Services Group in 2008. Throughout his career, he has attained the following specialty credentials: Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) issued by the AICPA, and Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) issued by the American Society of Appraisers. In 2019, Asif was awarded the VSCPA’s Top 5 under 35 Award. He previously served on the AICPA’s National Business Valuation Committee and was a recipient of the Standing Ovation award issued by the AICPA. He is very active with the VSCPA and AICPA, and also serves on the Finance Committee and Board of Directors for Board of Health Brigade.
The addition of Blanco and Charania brings Keiter’s total partner count to 22 with a staff of over 160 total employees focused on serving clients in Virginia and throughout the U.S.
