Keiter was presented with the 2023 Active RVA Award on April 13, 2023. The Active RVA certification and awards program is an initiative by Sports Backers, an organization that works to provide active living opportunities for all residents. The Active RVA program recognizes employers and schools in Richmond that have innovative programs to promote physical activity and wellness.

Active RVA-Certified Workplaces support their employees to maximize their health and wellness through regular physical activity. By utilizing programs, infrastructure, and measurable results, Active RVA-Certified Workplaces provide meaningful pathways for all employees to get moving and get healthy. Keiter actively seeks new and innovative ways to promote wellness at the firm, including programs that help our team members stay active. Some of these initiatives include Firm sponsored team for the annual Anthem Corporate Run, monthly gym membership reimbursement, on-site fitness sessions and yoga during busy season, and our summer wellness promotion, CPA VACAY.
