Gary is the Managing Partner at Keiter and oversees the Firm’s growth strategy. He also provides tax services to public and private entities and their owners in a variety of industry segments, including manufacturing, retail, real estate, and financial services. Gary has significant knowledge and experience in individual taxation, business taxation, including C and S corporations and partnerships. He advises clients on all aspects of tax matters, including tax accounting methods, multi-state tax, mergers and acquisitions, income tax accounting and representation with tax authorities.
He works with clients in various aspects of business turnarounds and restructurings, including tax aspects of debt workouts and foreclosures, forgiveness of indebtedness, bankruptcy restructurings and liquidations, establishing liquidating trusts and partner-partnership transactions.
He serves on the Firm’s Executive Committee. In addition, Gary is a member of the Firm’s Manufacturing, Distribution & Retail Industry team, State and Local Tax team, and International Tax team. He is also a leader in Keiter’s Mergers & Acquisitions team.
