It has been a great pleasure being able to serve our clients and community this past year. Keiter underwent many new and exciting changes that enhanced our services, strengthened our community, and made the past 12 months memorable. We are pleased to share some highlights from 2017.
Dedicated 300 Volunteer Hours During the 6th Annual Volunteer Day
We closed the office to allow everyone in the firm an opportunity to give back to the community through a group clean-up project at Maymont. Keiter volunteers dedicated 300 volunteer hours, which is the equivalent to a $7,000 donation, through activities such as clearing overgrowth from the animal habitats, tallying 14,000 Easter eggs, detailing over 150 chairs and 20 tables, planting over 2,500 bulbs and 10 shrubs, and assisting with the upkeep of the surrounding grounds areas.
Celebrated Staff Promotions and Achievements
We hosted a luncheon for the Keiter team at Maggiano’s Little Italy to celebrate all of the firm’s successes and accomplishments while recognizing 28 staff promotions.
Launched Transaction Advisory Services Team
We announced the launch of Keiter Transaction Advisory Services (KTAS) managed by Matt Austin, Managing Director. KTAS brings together the resources that Keiter has undertaken over the past 30+ years through its merger & acquisition, valuation, quality of earnings, due diligence, succession planning, and tax structuring service teams and through Keiter Stephens Advisors (KSA), a wholly-owned subsidiary focusing on the foodservice distribution industry.
Introduced Ann and Andrew as Firm Partners
We announced the promotion of two new partners, Charlotte Ann Ramage, CPA and Andrew K. Sledd, CPA, CFE, on October 1, 2017.
Welcomed New and Returning Interns and Externs
We welcomed 2017 interns and externs to the firm this year, who shared their internship experience at Keiter and were given the chance participate in local community events such as the River City Walking Food Tour.
With so many accomplishments to look back on, we look forward to another year full of opportunities to better serve our clients and the community we love. We wish everyone a safe, happy, and rewarding 2018!
